Teaching and Learning

MAGU uses the semester-based system with 16 weeks per semester for course work and associated assessments using GPA system.

Students are expected to take 5 to 6 courses for full time semester course load. Lecture hours are based upon a 60-minute hour. Most courses carry a 3-credit hour value.

Continuous assessments are part of a student’s assessment in study programme and represent 60% of the student’s final course grade.

End of Semester examination are administered at the end of each course and contribute 40% towards the overall course grade.
